Glen Ava was all out to beat Petite Rhapsody, Young William and Go Bob Go here at the start of the month and there is very little between that quartet on today’s terms, though the winner was having only his second run over hurdles. Petite Rhapsody had earlier finished ahead of Cliffs Of Dooneen over 2m4f on the track but both of West Lawn’s victories have come at Hexham and he was behind RELEASE THE KRAKEN here last month. The top weight subsequently went close at Uttoxeter and Brian Hughes keeps the partnership intact.
