In depth

Verdict

A wide-open race for stayers which sees Double Whammy bid to follow up last year’s success off only a pound higher mark. Smuggler's Stash and OPTIMISTIC BIAS are still fairly treated despite recent victories. The former looks a better bet than stablemate Mister Don but the latter gets the nod given he won over 3m3f over hurdles at Sedgefield back in September when 7lb higher. Allez Cool came right back to form at Carlisle and this big step up in distance could suit the unexposed Bindon Mill. Shanroe Street s not badly treated but Nakadam appears to be treading water off his current mark. Marlee Massie may also be a few pounds too high now along with Harry The Viking.
