Verdict
Valseur Du Granval has yet to win outside of novice company and hasn’t raced since December, though is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness. Ut Majeur Aulmes has been keeping decent company and is starting to slip down the weights again, though is still 10lb higher than when second in this race two years ago. DUKE OF NAVAN has had his problems and hasn’t raced since October 2015 but he’s always had a touch of class and defy and absence to score with Pain Au Chocolat not really firing over the last 12 months. Mr Mole is a shadow of his former self.
