    Verdict

LA BACOUETTEUSE hasn't raced over hurdles since the end of 2011 but has been in decent form on the Flat this year, winning over 2m at Musselburgh in July when Lady Gargoyle was almost three lengths away in third. Jim Goldie's mare was also receiving a lot of weight that day so we'd expect Iain Jardine's charge to confirm the form over obstacles and he may be the one to beat. Cruachan won at Hexham in June while Tantamount was successful in a maiden hurdle over course and distance in July, though beaten 26 lengths on his handicap debut here last time. Stablemate Lady Of Verona may need this.
