Verdict

Regal Blue made a winning debut under Rules at Ffos Las but the form hasn’t been franked. Hurricane Bay blotted his copybook at Aintree 12 days ago but Carnfunnock is proving a bit of a money-spinner, though his latest win at Naas came in a handicap. MAKIN’YOURMINDUP by-passed Cheltenham and Aintree after landing a Grade 2 at Haydock in February. He has won three of his five hurdle starts and was second in the others so can defy a penalty in this, though Hitching Jacking has also proved progressive. Giovinco steps up markedly in class.
