CARROLLS MILAN made giant strides at the end of last season and beat Niceandeasy and Mighty Thunder over a longer trip here on her final start. The placed horses are slightly better off at the weights but 5lb claimer Connor Brace gets on really well with Fergal O’Brien’s mare, who can overcome an absence to complete the four-timer. Justatenner was in good form at Cartmel over the summer. He’s a past course and winner and was third in this last year so is respected while Putting Green has already won twice over track and trip this season. Arctic Gold may not be the force of old and Kuraka has a bit to prove at present but Ryedale Racer isn’t badly treated, though has been hard to train in recent years.
