Panchovillas Gleam gets the call here ahead of Broadgate Flyer and Tierkely. The selection stays three miles well and ran a race full of promise at Roscommon on his first run for three months nine days ago. The fact that the hugely-talented Paul Carberry has been booked for the ride is a tip in itself so, for us, he's the one to be on. Broadgate Flyer won at Southwell on August 9 from an eight-pound lower mark but, with no doubts about his stamina over this extended trip, has to be considered. So does another Irish raider Tierkely, who is back to the mark from which he won at Sedgefield last August but, to be fair, has run modestly since. Palisander meets Wemyss Quest on the same terms on which the former finished one-and-a-half lengths ahead of the latter at Market Rasen on Saturday and, if his jumping holds together, could run into a place. With Hurricane Bay a bit hard to fancy, this turn us again to the selection, which is Panchovillas Gleam.
