    Verdict

Glinger is the selection here with Orswell Crest and Fier Goumier the others for the shortlist. Glinger won well at this course last time out and the step up in trip here should suit. Under similar conditions he looks to be the one to beat. Orswell Crest rates the main danger as he goes well fresh and improved beyond all recognition last season. If he has improved again he looks to have solid claims here. Fier Goumier was a good second last time out behind Tambo and that form has since been franked. He is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market. Broadgate Flyer could also go well and might have place claims, but we are happy to side with the tough and reliable Glinger.
