Some useful chasers in action but Kock de La Vesvre is preferred with the main dangers coming from Bizet and Tresor Preziniere. The Venetia Williams-trained Kock de La Vesvre was out of his depth when a faller in a valuable event at Aintree but had previously scored in pleasing fashion at Bangor. The five-year-old demonstrated his well being when an encouraging runner-up on a return visit to the same venue and a repeat performance may suffice at this level. Irish challenger Bizet is hard to assess but comes here in excellent form and clearly has to be respected but there remains a doubt over his ability to handle the fast ground. Tresor Preziniere is the least exposed and is capable of improving on respectable efforts at Newsboy and Incarnation so also enters calculations.
