Prospectorous has the edge in terms of experience but RIDDLEOFTHESANDS may be able to lower his colours with Yawl Springs perhaps best of the rest. The selection showed enough ability over hurdles to believe that he can win races in this sphere and it would be no surprise to see this winner of a Belclare point prove better served by jumping fences. This is his first outing in public over birch so his jumping has to be taken on trust unlike that of Prospectorous who has completed on all six starts and achieved his best placing when second behind the bang in-form Sarahs Gift last month. Yawl Springs ran a fair race at Stratford earlier in the month and merits respect on debut for a new yard but this trip on quick ground may prove to be on the short side for Justtheoneforyou whilst Tranos looks up against it on the evidence of his run at Sedgefield. Preference is for Riddleofthesands.
