With the stylish Christian Williams in the saddle, Great Crusader should take all the beating here. Although he did not beat much at Folkestone last time, he responded to a sypathetic ride from Leighton Aspell to stay on strongly over the three and a half miles. The drop back in trip is not seen as a problem, and he should be capable of following up at the expense of Red Lion. Nicky Henderson's six-year-old has ability but made too many mistakes at Plumpton on his handicap bow last time to expect him to beat the selection, but he is getting the hang of things and looks booked for a place. Nothing else really stands out although Dramatic Quest comes from an in-form stable and has a decent pilot on board, so will also be fancied to make the frame.
