Verdict
Malangen was entered in the 4.55 here yesterday. Serious Ego slips further down the weights but needs to up his game and is the senior runner in this. PLATINUMCARD, a four-times winner on the Flat, landed a gamble at Ayr on his handicap debut over hurdles and can shrug off a 7lb rise. Stablemate Eclair De Beaufeu is eased in grade but Parisencore, who wasn’t winning out of turn at Haydock, looks a bigger danger.
