A race not in keeping with the rest of the card, and Wee Willow is a speculative choice over Jallastep, Jolly John and Solway Minstrel. Most of these have been or are sadly out of form but at least Wee Willow has been placed a couple of times in his last three starts. His run against Ashleybank House at Ayr was a good effort as was his second to Station Island at Sedgefield last time. He will have no problems with today's trip and should be bang in there at the finish. Jallastep has it to do under topweight and slight preference is for Jolly John, although Charlie Mann's runner is a bit long in the tooth and has no improvement in him. Then again, he would not need any here. Solway Minstrel on the other hand has claims on his second to Champagne Harry here last September, and can make a bid for the frame at least. A poor contest then in which a very small wager only is the suggestion on Wee Willow.
