Colorado Falls gets the vote here over King of The Arctic, with Prince Among Men and Fairy Skin Maker the main dangers. We are probably taking a chance here in leaving Wet Lips out of calculations, but Richard Guest has pulled him out of so many races this season because of the ground, so even if he does run, he is worth taking on. Colorado Falls has been knocking on the door this season though and deserves to come good so gets our vote. Peter Monteith's charge, a middle-distance winner on the Flat, was seeing the racecourse for the first time since 2002 when lining up at Kelso in January. Third to Chivalry then, he has twice run well since, and indeed looked all over the winner at Carlisle last time but faded on the stiff run-in. Given a little break since, he must go close. Ex-Irish King of The Arctic made a winning start for new connections at Hexham in December and his latest second to Lucky Duck has been franked since. Prince Among Men is a course and distance winner but has topweight to overcome, while Fairy Skin Maker is going up the weights but looked the part at Kelso. They appear to be the main protagonists and we return to Colorado Falls as the answer.
