Honan can make up for his recent defeat, with Terlan, Killing Me Softly, Clouding Over and Captain Miller all out to stop him. Honan has taken time to get his act together over hurdles, having been well beaten on his first two starts this year, but there is light at the end of the tunnel judged on his last three efforts. Martin Pipe's runner only failed by half a length to beat Damarisco at Exeter, conceding lumps of weight to that rival, and with Timmy Murphy now in the saddle and the visor back on, he should go close despite the fact that the handicapper keeps putting him up for not winning. Terlan is going the right way, and he kept on well from the back at Haydock to finish third to Nyrche. Killing Me Softly was all out to hang on at Huntingdon last time, and will do well to repeat the feat, while Clouding Over should appreciate being put back over two miles, having opened her account over that distance at Catterick. Captain Miller tried to make every yard of the running at Wincanton but ran out of steam two out, and it is hard to fancy anything from his stable in the main this term. That comment certainly does not apply to Martin Pipe, and Honan has plenty going for him today.
