Cubomania is yet another strong Elliott contender and makes his return to the track after wind surgery. He's shown good form since joining his current yard and has obvious claims if taking to the larger obstacles. Clondaw Kaempfer is also back in action after wind surgery and has the edge in fencing experience over the Irish invader. However, we'll take a chance on TRONGATE as the gelding ran a nice race here on his first start for Iain Jardine behind a well-handicapped rival and looks the sort to improve going chasing.
