COOL CROI has only her second start in a handicap and this drop down in class may bring further progress from Gordon Elliott’s mare after a better effort at Downpatrick. Carlisle winner Coniston Clouds disappointed at Kelso last time but both Arnica and stablemate Ultra Violet ran well here on their respective latest starts with the former preferred over today’s trip. Ballin Bay posted a better effort at Sedgefield on his handicap bow though it was testing going on that occasion.
