Verdict

Somewhat Cloudy has won over fences at Market Rasen but faces much tougher opposition in this higher grade and one of the chasing newcomers may prove good enough. Fostered Phil finished in front of Lively Citizen when fourth over hurdles at Carlisle last time and a tongue-tie is applied today but GLENTRUAN is the best of these over timber and gets the vote having finished third in a Class 3 hurdle here last month. Our Marty failed to complete on his chasing bow and stablemate Thistlebuffs also represents last year’s winning yard.
