Nothing rates particularly strongly but OUTCROP does have the virtue of being pretty consistent and gained the bronze medal here earlier this month in a better race. Also, his penultimate run when a 1l second at Ffos Las reads pretty well in the context of this contest. Think Ahead has put an awful sequence of form figures behind him with sound placed efforts the last twice and merits a shortlist place accordingly. Beautiful Ben has a claim if not bouncing after a first run for over 600 days, whilst Gripper and Mrs Davies are an unexposed pair from quality stables who should be noted in the market. Dance Of Fire and Promise Of Peace may also contend.
