Verdict

Interesting to see Pat's Oscar making a chasing debut under 12-7 for the Elliott team especially as he faces really in-form opposition. Amalfi Doug, revelation since joining Keith Dalgleish with two course successes, now faces the challenge of translating improvement from hurdles to fences. He should go close if doing so. Top Of The Charts is respected after a comfortable Hexham success last month but SPINNING SCOOTER makes appeal despite being 4lb out of the handicap and the assessor not rating him within 21lb of his rivals. Nevertheless, he's tough and consistent and showed good resolve to score over course and distance 10 days ago and will hopefully set out to make all off his featherweight.
