Verdict
Deedeetee has plenty to prove on this ground so we'll take a chance with Laragh Hill ahead of Mr Jack Daniells. The selection hasn't gone on since making an encouraging debut over hurdles at Fontwell in September but he can hopefully recapture his form on his debut in the handicap ranks. He certainly ran well enough on the level earlier in the month to confirm that his well being is not an issue and he's worth chancing. Deedeetee won readily at Catterick on New Year's Day but has appeared to be in the handicapper's grip since. We wouldn't rule out a big run from him but he also has plenty to prove on fast ground as he has run below par on the three occasions he has tackled quick conditions. Mr Jack Daniells hasn't been easy to train but connections were rewarded for their patience when he made a winning return at Sedgefield. He has a rise in the weights and faster ground to contend with tonight but appeals as one of the likelier winners although our vote is awarded to Laragh Hill.
