Verdict
Sacred Square produced some fair handicap efforts on the level for William Haggas despite failing to actually get his head in front and was not beaten too far on his jumping debut behind Mandy's Boy at Ludlow in May. He's joined a leading NH yard and should improve with experience. Indeed, he may be good enough to score here but THE CHIEF VILLAIN is preferred. He represents a yard to be feared on their British raids and, interestingly, both runs to date have come in this country, notably when a close third to The Banastoir here earlier in the month. Hood and tongue tie are retained and hopefully will have the same positive effect. Maraweh is in good hands, looks best of the Russell duo and could well improve on performances to date.
