Verdict

AMIRR (NAP), a son of New Approach, made rather heavy weather of landing several large long-odds on bets at Stratford in June but does give the impression of one who will improve significantly with more experience under his belt. He is taken to defy his penalty against a trio of opponents who have shown some ability but will need to improve again. Bellas Rock and Carinena both represent yards which have proved themselves capable in the bumper arena and it is the latter who could emerge as the prime danger. The Crawford yard has also done well in this style of race when raiding from Ireland and if the money came for Paddy's Yarn on a first run since last September he would need to be factored into the equation after shown an element of promise on both starts.
