      Verdict

      Royal Chant beat Refusal three lengths in a three-runner Open at Witton Castle 10 days ago but the latter’s handler also runs POINT THE WAY. Second to the useful Alcala at Musselburgh in March, the 10-year-old holds Killer Crow on their run together at Sheriff Hutton last month and William Easterby takes over the reins. Magna Sam and Fortunes Hiding have become disappointing while Son Of Suzie was beaten a distance back under Rules at Hexham.
