In depth

Verdict

Hitman Fred’s last two runs appear to provide a good form guide for this. He had No No Mac, Not The Chablis and Purcell's Bridge behind when third last time having beaten EMIRAT DE CATANA and Skyhill when successful on earlier visit to Kelso. Lucinda Russell’s novice looks back on track, however, and he may prove the pick of the weights today. Astute Boy ran much better than the market suggested he would at Hexham on his chasing bow but is up against more battle-hardened rivals here.
