Duck Egg Blue has refused to race in three of his last four runs on the Flat but showed a better attitude over hurdles at Southwell. Instingtive is probably having a pipe-opener before going back over fences but Lake Baikal is interesting making his handicap debut after just three runs here in which he’s been placed. WOT A SHOT is the senior runner in this but has every chance of a third course victory off his current mark if forgiven a below-par effort here in July.
