The Caller seems sure to progress with racing after just six starts over timber but is unproven over this trip. In comparison, WORK DU BRETEAU has no stamina issues and has returned in good heart this year, notably when cruising home at Bangor. The claim of his promising conditional will help his cause and he is taken to maintain his progress over timber. Border Breaker has yet to fizz for new connections but course and distance winners Late Date and Johnny Go are both in decent form at present and are expected to take a hand, along with Dubai Devils for whom Richard Johnson is an eye-catching booking for Irish handler Paul Stafford.
