Despite taking a fierce hold, Trueshan still managed to outstay his rivals in the Doncaster Cup just over two weeks ago. He beat Stradivarius in landing this two years ago, with Skazino only fourth, but Hollie Doyle may again have trouble anchoring him in this small field. Skazino holds Moon Wolf and Vert Liberte on Saint-Cloud running in June but EMILY DICKINSON might be the one to beat. She accounted for Run For Oscar over 1m6f at the Curragh in July and did best of those who gave Quickthorn far too much rope in the Goodwood Cup subsequently. An earlier fourth in the Ascot Gold Cup showed that she stays marathon distances.
