Another race that can go to the British raiders as Sir Michael Stoute's CRYSTAL CAPELLA can repel the threat of impressive Nassau Stakes winner Midday. Henry Cecil's filly proved she did go on soft ground after all at Goodwood and perhaps it was the combination of heavy ground and the mile and a half trip that found her out in the Irish Oaks. Whatever, 10 furlongs looks her optimum distance but she has tough competition here headed by the Cape Cross filly Crystal Capella. She hasn't been seen since a short head defeat of Dar Re Mi in a Group 3 at York in May, but that form reads very well now and it also proved she's excellent when fresh.
