held up, ridden and outpaced halfway, kept on from over 1f out
led, headed over 6f out, ridden and every chance 2f out, soon not much room, switched right, stayed on close home
keen, held up, ridden and weakened over 2f out
tracked leaders, led 3f out, hung left from over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
slowly into stride, outpaced, behind final 5f
in touch, ridden and led over 1f out, ran on
led over 6f out, ridden and headed 3f out, kept on same pace
chased leaders until half ay, soon outpaced, kept on from over 1f out
slowly into stride, always towards rear
slowly into stride, always towards rear
Some top stables represented in this fascinating maiden and the selection is Grandalea who should have too many guns for Muscida and Cause Celebre. The fact that Michael Stoute's filly ran on the all weather at Lingfield last time out may have given cause for concern, however, when you look at what the winner Sundrop did at Ascot on Saturday then Grandalea stands out as having oustanding claims in this event. Muscida hails from the Henry Cecil camp, and although she has only seen a racecourse on one occasion, she looked to be crying out for a longer trip when finishing a close second at Salisbury. Cause Celebre is improving with each run and the Barry Hills trained filly, who was just touched off last time at Leicester by a Michael Stoute newcomer should be in the shake up. Grandalea though is a confident selection, with Cause Celebre and Musdcida running for place money.
