The far side of the track looks the place to be with TOP BID, who is being kept busy, tipped to get one over on Green Park. Flying Applause and Cape Royal are a couple of others capable of getting involved in the thick of the action. Cape Royal has been racing with plenty of zest lately and is a likely candidate to tow them along. Being drawn next to Tartatartutata virtually ensures the Milton Bradley-trained veteran will get the strong pace he needs and the old boy shouldn't be underestimated. Flying Applause likes this course and is also well berthed near the pace. The mount of Russell Kennemore has won off a 1lb higher mark in the past, so has another feasible chance of profiting from his visit to Nottingham. Green Park will appreciate any rain before the off and is a worthy alternative to the selection. There is very little between them and, as the Declan Carroll-trained gelding has been knocking on the door of late, it would be harsh to begrudge him a day in the limelight. However, Top Bid makes a touch more appeal on these terms and, as he missed an engagement at Beverley on tuesday in favour of coming here; Tim Easterby's charge is the preferred choice today.
