A weak maiden in which we will side with CARA'S REQUEST ahead of Fancy Footsteps and Manere Bay. Of those to have raced to date, the selection's recent second to Otaared reads as the best piece of form. He has since gone on to run well off a mark of 94 so this looks a good opportunity for the selection to score. Of the newcomers it is Wing Diva who looks the most interesting for an in-form stable, however Supaverdi may also be able to make an impact on debut. Shamali ran well last time at Pontefract behind Jaadull on a rare visit for the trainer to that track, whilst Fancy Footsteps and Manere Bay have both shown ability but both may be more interesting when handicapped. An interesting maiden on the face of it, with Cara's Request nominated.
