In depth

Verdict

With the experienced horses in the line-up not boasting form of a high standard, this race looks set up for the well-bred newcomer Moscow. The TEAMtalk selection is trained by John Gosden who remains in excellent form at present, and this three-year-old is an impeccably-bred son of Cadeaux Genereaux and an expensive purchase. He is likely to be wound up for this debut and should take a lot of beating. The obvious danger is the experienced Rose d'Or whose best two runs to date came at this track. She looked as though she would soon get her head in front, however was inexcusably disappointing last time out at Brighton and will have to bounce back to her best here. After a poor debut High Straits improved considerably on his second start when sixth at Epsom and with his trainer going great guns, further improvement can be expected. He is the main danger if the selection fails to deliver on his debut. Fact O' The Matter is thoroughly exposed and is unlikely to finally break his duck here.
