In depth

Verdict

Princess Miletrian sets a good standard in this maiden following good efforts both in this company and in handicaps. Although she continues to find it difficult to get her head in front, she battled on gamely enough for third last time at Windsor to suggest that there isn't too much wrong with her attitude. However despite her obvious claims it would not be a surprise to see her find one too good again. Millennium Hall is another frustrating horse to follow and has a bit to find with Princess Miletrian on the best of his form and there the TEAMtalk vote goes to a more unexposed type, Epitome. The selection got to grips with the game late on in her debut at Ascot in an above-average maiden. Her trainer's horses invariably improve for the run and it would not take much for her to improve past everything in this race.
