This is not the strongest of maidens and it may fall to Entertaining, with E Bride and Pedlar Of Dreams put forward as the main dangers. Henry Candy's filly hasn't exactly set the world alight, but has shown plenty of promise in maidens at Pontefract and Folkestone. She appears to be progressing nicely and doesn't seem to have too much to beat. Pedlar Of Dreams may prove best of the opposition. She made a good impression on her debut when a close third behind Satin Finish and ran to that same level when fifth to Folgar at Musselburgh, hardly scintillating form, but should still be good enough to take a hand here. E Bride displayed ability on her only outing at Pontefract, where she finished ahead of the selection. If she can show as much improvement as Entertaining did on her second run, she will be a major threat. So not a race to get too involved in financially, but Entertaining may be the best option.
