London Prize was going away at the finish over 2m at Newbury last week having been well supported. But he took a while to get on top so the drop back in distance is a worry. Coeur de Lion looked an out-and-out stayer when third at Bath and Captain Peacock appeared a tricky ride at Haydock but Pastoral Music looked progressive when scoring at Kempton and could be interesting if he transfers that form to Turf and stays the longer trip. DUKE OF DIAMONDS has shot up the weights since winning over track and trip in June but has held his form well and is no forlorn hope today. Transpennine Star is on a hat-trick but needs to up his game again on his first try in this grade.
