Romance Story will be fancied to gone better here than at Chepstow last time as the extra furlong has to be in his favour. He's only a pound higher while there will be plenty of interest in Sir Michael Stoute's Referendum, who looks to be improving with experience. Maftoon is proving disappointing, however, while Stolen Story didn't build on his Windsor second at Salisbury next time. Arracourt looks the ideal type for a nursery but was only half-a-length ahead of COSMIC STATESMAN at Thirsk last time and Richard Fahey's charge is 3lb better off now. He was his stable's second string that day but could be very well treated here.
