NAVAJO STAR finished runner-up over 1m6f at Goodwood last time and an apprentice takes 5lb off her back today. She can effectively race off a lower mark than when winning over 2m at Chelmsford in March and gets the vote. Serenity Now won a claimer at Southwell recently and stays this far and so does the veteran Hallstatt, who won this contest back in 2014. Northwest Frontier was placed at Musselburgh on his latest start and attempts 2m for the first time but something went amiss with Mambo Dancer at Ripon last time.
