Verdict
Hatcher won his bumper here and has twice finished second over hurdles at the track. He was only beaten half-a-length by Movie Set over course and distance last month and it would be no surprise if he finally got his head in front over timber but MON PORT could be a nice hurdling prospect given his form in bumpers. He’s having his first run in almost a year but has switched to Olly Murphy so fitness shouldn’t be a problem. St Patrick's Day is looking exposed but Stuart Edmunds’ French import Lion Rouge is probably worth a market check.
