Fever can make fitness tell over Cleide da Silva, with newcomer Mad Rush best watched. Fever shaped well on a couple of occasions last term, and ran well when third to Zar Solitario at Kempton a month ago. He picked up really well in the closing stages, and will be all the better for the outing. Jeremy Noseda is probably still not over the defeat of Sander Camillo at Newmarket on Wednesday and may face more disappointment here with Cleide da Silva who was fancied when turned over at Lingfield in September. She is likely to need the run, but has an Oaks entry and will at least be suited by the step up to a more suitable trip. Luca Cumani sent out the winner of this event last year, and Mad Rush is worth noting for the future, but it is asking a lot for him to be ready first time, and with fitness and experience to call on, it is Fever that is the one to beat.
