Gladiatrix bounced back to form when the going eased at Windsor and though there's no guarantee that that will happen here, in-form mares are invariably worth staying on the right side of. DOCTOR PARKES invariably needs luck in running but given the abundance of early pace in the field, conditions look ideal and he can stay on to wrest the spoils when the others have cried enough. Random Success takes a rise in grade though her trainer isn't in the habit of making fanciful entries and she was highly progressive during the winter. Barracuda Boy and Secret Asset are regulars in the big field handicaps while Taurus Twins is sure to give another bold account despite the assessor's decision not to drop him for three defeats off his current mark. Forest Edge took advantage of a lower Turf mark to rattle home at Leicester and on the face of it, the 3lb rise he accrued for that success seems fair.
