Verdict

Shahdaroba landed this contest last season under topweight for Micky Hammond and clearly enjoys his visits to the East Midlands having scored here in May after joining David O'Meara. Ground conditions look ideal for this repeat performance bid and he's a must on anyone's shortlist. Light And Shade and Nayel are sure to have more to offer and both look on the upgrade after scoring last time at Haydock and Bath respectively. The Tate inmate makes greater appeal of the pair but TRINITY STAR was really progressive last season and has maintained an upward trajectory in the the current campaign apart from a modest showing in the Carlisle Bell last time when never competitive. A mile on quick ground represents optimum conditions and the course and distance winner is a value alternative in a competitive little heat.
