LEXINGTON ABBEY returned to form with a cosy course and distance success over Greeb last month and can confirm placings on 2lb worse terms. Prior to a brief two-race lull, Kevin Ryan's gelding had performed with admirable consistency over the previous year in a series of hotly-contested sprint handicaps and sets a demanding standard now back to winning ways. Greeb is clearly a threat once again and the feeling persists that Subversive is going to crop up sooner or later. The Johnston gelding has been kept busy of late but remains worth keeping on the right side of on his current mark.
