Verdict

Hooked On You disappointed at Pontefract having won a novices race at the same track earlier while KING OF JUNGLE returned a beaten favourite over the minimum trip in soft ground at Thirsk on last month’s handicap bow. But, gelded since, he won over today’s trip earlier in the year and gets another chance. Several return to action with a shout including Aristobulus, who scored over course and distance last term, while Tyson ended last year with a victory over 5f at Bath. Helvetique should be winning a handicap this season judged on last year’s consistent efforts.
