L' Evangile paid the price for trying to match Persian Punch for toe at Ascot last time and duly paid the price. However, she faces nothing of that calibre of opponent here and will be a different proposition if she can be settled in just off the pace. Her best efforts have come on similar ground and she is long overdue a change of luck. Titchfield should be more suited to this trip than 11 furlongs he tried last time and could pose the biggest threat. However, he lacks a turn of foot and may be found wanting in the latter stages.
