Verdict

My Own Way Home was due to run yesterday at Salisbury and may be too high in the weights now. Big Wave might struggle under a penalty after getting back to winning ways at Yarmouth and Elnadwa has been disappointing since finishing second over 7f at Salisbury on her reappearance and is now blinkered. QUEEN HERMIONE shot clear of favourite Lulu The Zulu at Doncaster last month with Big Wave back in fourth. Adam McLean's claim takes care of the inevitable weight rise and, if in the same mood, Derek Shaw's mare should double up here as long as the ground doesn't get any faster. Caranbola had little chance from a poor draw at Beverley on Wednesday but holds Dancheur on an earlier second at Redcar and could be the pick of the remainder.
