A race typical of its nature where we'll go to war with GEORGE THISBY ahead of Dubai Legend, Sometsuke and Spiritofthewest. Rod Millman has his string in tip-top form at present which swings our vote in favour of George Thisby, who only has a maiden success to his name. However, the form of his latest run at Newbury reads well enough in this company and he won't need to find too much more in order to play a prominent role. The presence of a little cut in the ground may enable Dubai Legend and Cawdor to recapture their best efforts whilst the extremely well handicapped Spiritofthewest is fitted with a visor for the first time and he's well worth a market check. Sometsuke ventures into the handicap ranks on a fair mark and Jimmy Fortune is a positive booking for the yard and shows a level stakes profit on all mounts in recent years. Reject, Mamlakati and Cheyenne Red will have their supporters and there are plenty more names that can be thrown into the hat as well.
