China Pink can defy a six pound penalty for winning at Yarmouth last week and score once again with both Bruki and Hawk Mountain worth noting. The selection is still only lightly raced and has been improving steadily with experience. He won well enough last time and connections are keen to run with the penalty rather than wait till he is assessed by the handicapper so for that reason is worth siding with. Bruki is another lightly raced sort who ran well when third of eleven at Yarmouth last time out. He is now three pounds higher as a result but could still be on the up grade so is worth monitoring in the market. As is Hawk Mountain who ran a personal best when third of sixteen at Pontefract back in June and is likely to improve once again. But for the winner we return to China Pink.
