Outlaw Torn has been brilliantly placed by Richard Guest to gain 14 of his 15 career victories and he's now only 1lb higher than his last winning mark. Diamond Runner's last victory was at Wolverhampton over a year ago and he's still on a higher mark and though The Dukkerer scored at Wolverhampton early last month, with Palindrome back in third, he was behind MRS BIGGS at Wetherby next time and Declan Carroll's mare, who ran well in a higher-class contest at Thirsk last time, can get back to winning ways. Nouvelle Ere is very moderate but wins his share and is on the shortlist.
