Casemate is given the vote in the finale with La Bella Grande and Wayward Shot the pair likely to give him the most to do. The selection won well last time at Lingfield when beating Jennverse. He had previously disappointed on soft ground but he will have his optimum conditions today and he should take plenty of beating. La Bella Grande ran well enough on her handicap bow last time when third behind Bolodenka. However, he gave the impression that day that he would be better over a longer trip and for that reason we will take him on. Wayward Shot was disappointing on soft ground at Ripon last time but he had previously beaten Fly To Dubai who has since gone on to frank the form. Burton Ash was below-par last time but had previously run well twice over this course and distance so he may have place prospects, but for the winner we return to Casemate.
